The Austheat AH860 Freestanding Electric Hotplate is a robust commercial cooking solution designed for high-speed grilling and consistent performance in demanding foodservice environments. Its 12mm thick heavy-duty machined steel hotplate provides excellent heat retention and a durable cooking surface for preparing burgers, steaks, eggs, bacon and other popular menu items.
The 645 × 585mm cooking surface provides generous space for high-volume food preparation, while the two cooking sections can be operated independently using separate Cook/Idle controls. This allows operators to manage cooking areas according to demand and reduce unnecessary energy use during quieter periods.
The AH860 also features additional storage space beneath the hotplate, providing convenient room for plates, pans, cooking utensils or 1/1 gastronorm pans. A removable, three-position adjustable shelf makes cleaning and storage management easier.
Designed for three-phase electric operation, the AH860 delivers 10.5kW of power and is suitable for busy restaurants, cafés, takeaway outlets, fast-food venues and commercial kitchens. Castors at the rear and adjustable front legs provide practical installation and positioning flexibility.
